Math Workbook — The Best Supplemental Learning Tool

The digital math workbook is an overview of everything we learned during the year. It features key areas of focus from each of the four terms. Using this as a practice guide is a great way to review fundamental concepts, important computation techniques and strategies, real-world problem-solving applications, as well as language processing and critical thinking skills.

Each workbook features:

• Welcome Guide: This serves as your introduction to the workbook. It covers the syllabus, instructions, and a helpful video.
• 4 Packets: The packets correspond with the syllabus. They contain:
  • 3 Quizzes: Sections A, B, and C are composed of a variety of multiple-choice questions designed to review and challenge students. Upon answering the question, the digital workbook will auto-populate with a video explaining the process of computing the correct answer.
  • Math Challenge: This is a shorter quiz that encourages students to think critically and outside of the box to derive the correct solution.
  • Mental Math Section: Students should time how quickly they can finish the mental math section by noting the “start time” and “end time” at the top of each page. As they learn more computation techniques and strategies and practice more intensive material, their mental math skills should improve in time and accuracy. They can check their answer and grade themselves by using the Mental Math Answer Key.
