Winter Math Wizards Schedule
Students will wave their magic wands and train to become “Math Wizards” this Mid-Winter Break!
SMC is excited to bring back our highly popular Mid-Winter break math enrichment program that will introduce students to many of the techniques and strategies in the Singapore Maths Club curriculum.
Winter Math Wizards is a 5-day program which takes place February 17th-21st. Students will attend daily Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Students will attend in-person and receive a wand at the start of the program. They will attend different “wizard classes” and complete a themed craft in addition to the math classwork they complete each day. They will work together to earn their wizard hats by the end of the week by applying the techniques and strategies they have learned!
Program Participants will receive the following:
- Hard Copy Review Workbook
- 12½ hours of In-Person Sessions with SMC Instructors
- Daily Craft to Take Home
- Wizard’s Wand and Hat
Winter Math Wizards is a 1-week program with 5 sessions throughout the week. Each session is 2½ hours long and includes time for activities and lunch in addition to the classwork students will complete. Students are asked to bring a lunch from home.
